City Church is an increasingly diverse community comitted to helping each other live like Jesus in our city and our world. We're a small but lively group of people seeking God's heart for our neighbors, our campuses, our friends, our city, and each other.
Throughout the week, City Church gathers in community groups where we learn, live, and share Jesus’ story. Community groups are the best way to begin to experience what living like Jesus is all about. They are a place you can belong. Many of our community groups are engaged in serving their neighbors at local community centers, youth prisons, english as a second language classes, and more.
On Sundays, City Church gathers to worship Jesus, hear relevant messages from Scripture, and enjoy meeting old and new friends. We are excited to meet in such a diverse and centrally located neighborhood like Allston and would love to have you visit us.
Visit Us on Sunday
Visiting us on a Sunday is a great way to get a feel for who is involved in our church community, discover what we believe, and meet some of our members. You can learn more about our Sunday gathering including details about parking and transportation at our Sundays page.
Connect with a Community Group
Interested in learning more about the stories found in the Bible? Want to meet a group of people learning to love like Jesus and serve in your neighborhood? We'd love to connect you with them. Just fill out the form at our community group page.
Have a question(s) for us? Would you like to be contacted by the member of our staff team? Visit our connect page.
You will be welcomed into a warm and friendly environment, where others come as they are (and dress how they like) to worship Jesus and enjoy being together. You'll probably be greeted by our connect team, and you will be able to pick up a packet of info about City Church and a coffee at our welcome table in the back. In the first half of our meeting there will be a joyful and expressive time of worship where we expect to experience the presence of God and hear from Him, then there will be a talk (message) where we seek to make the truth of the Bible relevant to life. There is often an opportunity to receive prayer for any issue in your life at the end of the gathering. There's always coffee and sometimes even some snacks at our welcome table, and there will be folks from many different countries and backgrounds ready to answer your questions and get to know you. Everyone is welcome at City Church.
We meet in the Brighton Music Hall, a music venue that we rent each Sunday.
Worship begins at 10:30am, and our meeting usually ends around noon. There are dozens of great restaurants to go out to lunch to around our site.
During the message there will be a kid’s program (4-8) and nursery (0-3) available for your children. We love children and enjoy having them as a part of our gatherings. All of our kid's workers are trained and CORI certified.
