Join Us On A Sunday
Each Sunday, City Church Boston gathers to worship Jesus, hear relevant messages, and enjoy meeting old and new friends. We converge from across the city at the Brighton Music Hall where we aim to encourage each other and enjoy being a part of the vibrant Allston community. Allston is a diverse and centrally located Boston neighborhood that we are excited to meet in.

How to Find Us
Our Sunday meeting is located at the intersection of Brighton Avenue and Harvard Avenue near several big universities including Boston University, Boston College, and Harvard University and is easily accessible via public transportation. There is a free public city parking lot behind the venue off of Harvard Avenue.
The 57 and 66 buses stop outside our venue and provide access to the Brighton, Fenway, Brookline, Cambridge, and Mission Hill neighborhoods of Boston.
We are just three blocks from the Harvard Avenue train station for the MBTA Green Line “B” Branch.
Free parking is available in a large public city lot behind the venue. Access to the lot is off of Harvard Avenue. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE BLANCHARDS PARKING AREA, or you will be towed. There are numerous, clear signs marking their spots. You may also park on Harvard or Brighton Avenues where spots are avaliable.
What happens at a Sunday gathering?
On most Sundays, we have about 30 minutes of contemporary worship during which time you can feel free to participate or observe, sit or stand. Our worship can be joyful, multi-cultural and expressive at times as we enjoy celebrating what Jesus has done for us and how he has united us together. Sometimes our members might share a prayer, a Bible reading or a word of encouragement for everyone. Our goal is not to put on a show or to entertain, but to help people to worship and connect with God. At the end of worship, parents can take their children to our kids program and then we hear a relevant message from the Bible. Each week there is always an opportunity to receive prayer for any situation at the end of our gathering. Our gatherings generally end around 12:00PM and may conclude with a song, a time of prayer, or sharing communion together.
What about my kids?
We love kids at City Church and have enjoyed watching our church grow from a collection of college students and young 20s to now included young families and some older couples. During the message, we have a children's program for kids aged 4 to 8 years old where we provide a fun, safe environment where the truth of God's Word comes alive through a creative and interactive curriculum and activities just for kids. We also have nursery room for young children ages 0-3 years old staffed by our team of wonderful volunteers (all CORI certified) during the message. Children stay with their parents for the time of worship so that families can worship together.
We do background checks on all of our volunteers and ongoing training to ensure that your children are safe and cared for.
